OUR MISSION
We work to give people with myasthenia gravis clear information, reliable self-monitoring tools, and a continuous record of their condition. Our aim is to support earlier recognition of deterioration, reduce the risk of avoidable complications and premature death, and enable better-informed clinical decisions.
WHAT WE DO
Developing MedHelps: a secure patient account with validated outcome measures and a structured record of symptoms, treatment, and investigations.
Providing accessible information about myasthenia, treatment safety, warning signs, and preparation for clinical appointments.
Using modern technology to understand change over time and develop solutions grounded in clinical data.
Working with patient communities, clinicians, researchers, charities, and grant-making organisations.
HOW IT WORKS
symptoms, outcome measures, test results, treatment, and significant events
by date, change over time, and possible contributing factors
the trajectory and clinical context between appointments
when the data indicate deterioration or sustained improvement
TEAM AND COMMUNITY
The organization is led by Margarita Marchuk — a neurologist, psychiatrist, and accredited CBT psychotherapist. An operations coordinator supports day-to-day delivery. People living with myasthenia help shape our work through lived experience, feedback, and community participation.
