Specialist expertise

Myasthenia — a dedicated area of long-term clinical work

Myasthenia care involves more than prescriptions made during a consultation. Daily fluctuations in strength, treatment tolerability, comorbidities, risk of exacerbation, and a continuous history of change all matter.

01Diagnosis and differential assessment

Assessment of the clinical picture, antibody results, neurophysiological studies, and imaging findings.

02Individual treatment strategy

An explanation of treatment options, expectations, risks, adverse effects, and criteria for adjustment.

03Complex clinical situations

Exacerbations, intercurrent illness, coexisting psychiatric and neurological conditions, and pregnancy planning.

04Longitudinal monitoring

Regular scales and review of symptoms and documents between consultations using MedHelps.

M+ · MEDHELPS

A secure account designed for people with myasthenia

Myasthenia gravis requires lifelong follow-up, so reliable longitudinal information is essential. A consultation defines the clinical plan, while MedHelps captures changes between visits: the patient records their condition and the doctor sees a coherent history.

01

Monthly monitoring

Brief structured questionnaires record changes regularly instead of relying on recall during an appointment.

02

Validated outcome measures

MG-ADL, MG-QoL15R, and QMG scores are tracked over time and complement the clinician’s assessment.

03

Symptoms and concerns

Weakness, swallowing, breathing, double vision, adverse reactions, and other important changes are recorded in one continuous history.

04

Tests and documents

Test results can be added by date, so they do not need to be searched for across different chats and folders.

05

Therapy over time

Prescriptions, dose changes, reasons for adjustments, and responses to treatment form a clear clinical context.

06

Reminders and tasks

Review dates, investigations, and agreed next steps help ensure that important details are not missed between consultations.

07

Contact with your doctor

The patient and doctor work from one up-to-date clinical history, so new records are not lost between messages.

08

Access control

The account is protected by secure sign-in. Patients can access only their own linked medical record.
